I have over 70gb free, yet my PS4 is still saying there isn't enough free space to download a 3gb patch. So the 50gb theory isn't true.:(Nothing really to add to the discussion other than, if you're coming to this discussion from Google like I did, this issue is still happening, and it's really really frustrating.
